Specialized testing with advanced astigmatism analysis
We use advanced technology to capture a topography (map of the cornea) and pachymetry (corneal thickness) measurement which provides the most detailed information about your cornea’s shape. A computer then builds a color map of your cornea from the data. Your doctor will refer to this map when customizing your plan for surgery and any astigmatism correction.
Comprehensive analysis and surgical plan using Verion™ Image Guided System
This system is designed to minimize chances for error by creating a seamless link of data from the clinic to the operating room. Electronic transmission of information decreases the chance of human error that can occur when data is hand entered improving the accuracy of cataract surgery. The Verion™ image-guided system begins by capturing a high definition image of your eye. Using this image the surgeon can create a blueprint of the best procedure for you.
Astigmatism management
Advanced technology implants Toric and ReSTOR-Toric are used to decrease astigmatism and optimize uncorrected vision after cataract surgery.
Analysis and optimization during cataract surgery with the ORA system
The ORA System® is sophisticated technology used to provide real time measurements of your eye during surgery which is not possible with today’s conventional instruments. The ORA System® works by directing a beam of low intensity laser light into the eye while the surgical procedure is in process. The laser light reflects off of the retina and sensors in the ORA instrument analyzing the reflected wave of light exiting the eye. Using this information, your doctor can evaluate the optical conditions in your eye throughout your cataract procedure making real time surgical decisions, which will give you the best visual outcome.
Trimoxi Dropless™ injection
Traditional cataract surgery requires the patient to use multiple eye drops after surgery. The Trimoxi Dropless™ injection combines the antibiotic and steroid medication. You receive the injection at the time of surgery. This injection eliminates the need for 2 of the 3 different eye drops postoperatively which is convenient, helps with compliance, and is cost effective. Not all patients are a candidate for the injection, your doctor will make that determination.
